BIOGRAPHY
Robert Boyd is an interdisciplinary installation artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. His work has been reviewed in publications such as The New York Times, Art in America, TimeOut NY, Newsday, Art Monthly and Flash Art. He has exhibited widely in the United States, Mexico and Europe at venues such as; Martin Gropius Bau, Berlin, Germany, 00130 Gallery, Helsinki, Finland, Galeria de Arte Mexicano, Mexico City, MX, White Box, NYC, Smart Project Space, Amsterdam, NL, Galerie Chez Valentin, Paris, FR, Islip Art Museum, Islip, NY, Schroeder Romero, Brooklyn, NY and Momenta Art, Brooklyn, NY. His forthcoming solo exhibition "Xanadu" will take place at Participant Inc., NYC, in 2006. He has been an Artist-In-Residence
at the Cuts and Burns Residency Program at the Outpost, Brooklyn, NY, Fundacion Valparaiso, Mojacar, Spain and at the Ringling School of Art and Design/New College of USF, Sarasota, FL. In 2004 he was awarded
an Artists Fellowship in Photography from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
